A popular upgrade for carpet and other high grip racing surfaces is lowered shock towers.  After almost 2 years of trial and error developing the best overall towers (some other manufacturers cant say this) we ended up with these.  Designed to lower weight as much as possible while still allowing enough droop when needed.  We stayed with the truck shock bodies and shafts and recommend this as well, we tested buggy length shafts and bodies for quite some time and never felt like it had enough droop on big agressive features.  Made form high quality 4.5mm carbon fiber these towers are also slightly narrower than stock SC towers, as well as incorperating more upper shock mounting holes for a wider range of adjustment.  I was never a big fan of the somewhat weak and rather expensive (adds up over time) body mounts we designed our towers to directly fit Traxxas Slash #1914R which is a low cost more durable alternative and weighs the same.  We have included this with your purchase of the tower set.
